So we went to Nashville....
Friday to see the doctor about Tate's neck. We woke up at 4:00 am and got on the road. The appointment was at 10:30 and we got there in plenty of time. The doctor was super nice and extremely informative. We found out that Tate is a perfect candidate for the OK-432 shots! We already kind of knew that but it was nice to hear it from the doctor who is actually going to do them! He said that Tate's lymphangioma was a good kind to do the injections on because his is sort of like a big water balloon, where others are more like clusters of grapes...he said that he should respond very well to the injections. The next step now is to sign the scary consent form and start with the process of getting the dreaded insurance to approve all the things that go along with these shots. The actual shots are paid for but he will have to have CT's, EKG's, labs, maybe even an overnight hospital stay...so, we are starting the process to get those things approved. He said sometimes this part is a little aggravating....but that since we have seen 3 doctors now about this, that maybe it would be a little easier! Also, he said that he did not think that Tate would need a trach, which makes Mommy feel a lot better! Overall, it was a great visit!

Down on the Farm
The weather was beautiful today, so Ginnie and I decided to take the kids to the Lazy "B" Ranch...her parents house! Will Thomas, Anna Elizabeth and Tate loved looking, petting and feeding at Ralph the Goat, Eugene the Donkey, Horatio the Pot Belly Pig, Pris Pot the baby Goat, all the horses & various other animal that you might find at the farm! The weather was perfect and we all had a great time!
