HAPPINESS

~ I have seen this on some peoples blogs and decided to do it myself! You are supposed to tag 5 people to do it also, but I won't burden everyone with that!

Rule: Write ten things that make you happy!

1. My boys....all 3 of them. I could go on and on forever about them and how they make me happy. Their smell makes me happy. Their hugs and kisses make me happy. Their laughter makes me happy. Their chaos makes me happy, even though I may not show it sometimes! Their sweet hearts make me happy. Just the fact that they are mine makes me the happiest.

2. My favorite smells make me happy and everyone that knows me knows that my nose (haha that sounds funny)is sensitive. In no particular order they are - fresh cut grass, a red currant candle, a new box of Crayola crayons, pickles, the beach, football games (The Grove), baseball games, babies and my boys when they get out of the bath.

3. The beach. Enough said!

4. Music....loud. Any kind, doesn't really matter!

5. Being with my husband, by ourselves, doing nothing, Like riding in the truck or going out to eat...simple things.

6. My best friends. They know who they are....

7. My family....not just my boys, but my Mom and Michael and Gray and Na. They will never know how much they mean to me.

8. The Orchard and my Small Group. They are a wonderful group of people! Being involved in this church has changed my life forever!

9. Las Margaritas!

10. Laughing so hard that my stomach and my cheeks hurt.

~ I had never done this before, but I could go on and on. I am a very lucky girl! God has blessed me and my family beyond my wildest dreams! If you get a chance try it! It was pretty fun!

Fun with a Box

I now know exactly what I am getting Tate for Christmas this year! I am going to take all the toys back and I am going to wrap the diaper box up. He played with this box for over an hour! As you can see, Monkey is never far away.
*Sorry for the nasty shirt...we had just finished eating snack!

Our "Little One" is the "Big One"

Tate's actual 1st birthday was Saturday, but we celebrated last Sunday. He was so precious, I can't believe that he is already 1!!! Time really does fly. The outfit that he had on was my dad Michael's (Tate's "B") when he was little. He looked absolutely adorable! We had a great time. Our friend Amy did the cakes and they were simply delicious (and great looking)!

Halloween and the 1st Annual Hayride :)

Just wanted to post a few Halloween pictures. As you can see, WT was a COWBOY and Tate was a LION! They were precious. We went to our friends Jamie and Brian's house and took the kids on hayride. The weather was perfect and everyone had a really good time.

Fall is Finally Here...

I haven't posted in a while, so I thought I would get on here and update! We have been super busy with soccer, small group, work, etc.
We went to the Pumpkin Patch at the Buffalo Park. "My" and I took them (Daddy was working) and they had so much fun. Will Thomas loved the Hay Maze and we played and everyone picked out a pumpkin. I tried to get a good picture of both of the boys together, but at this age that is nearly impossible. I did get some cute ones though.

Soccer Games

Will Thomas has now had 2 soccer games! It is soooo much fun! He did score the 1st goal for his team....Argentina, or as he calls it, the "Tina Tina" team. He has been having a good time! The first game he had to go to the potty about half way through...wonder who he gets that from? They all had fun and were too cute. They don't keep score at this age, but I think WT has scored about 5 goals! We may have a David Beckham in the making!

So we went to Nashville....

Friday to see the doctor about Tate's neck. We woke up at 4:00 am and got on the road. The appointment was at 10:30 and we got there in plenty of time. The doctor was super nice and extremely informative. We found out that Tate is a perfect candidate for the OK-432 shots! We already kind of knew that but it was nice to hear it from the doctor who is actually going to do them! He said that Tate's lymphangioma was a good kind to do the injections on because his is sort of like a big water balloon, where others are more like clusters of grapes...he said that he should respond very well to the injections. The next step now is to sign the scary consent form and start with the process of getting the dreaded insurance to approve all the things that go along with these shots. The actual shots are paid for but he will have to have CT's, EKG's, labs, maybe even an overnight hospital stay...so, we are starting the process to get those things approved. He said sometimes this part is a little aggravating....but that since we have seen 3 doctors now about this, that maybe it would be a little easier! Also, he said that he did not think that Tate would need a trach, which makes Mommy feel a lot better! Overall, it was a great visit!

Down on the Farm

The weather was beautiful today, so Ginnie and I decided to take the kids to the Lazy "B" Ranch...her parents house! Will Thomas, Anna Elizabeth and Tate loved looking, petting and feeding at Ralph the Goat, Eugene the Donkey, Horatio the Pot Belly Pig, Pris Pot the baby Goat, all the horses & various other animal that you might find at the farm! The weather was perfect and we all had a great time!

FUNNY, FUNNY BOY!

So, I was cleaning up the kitchen after supper tonight and Will Thomas was "helping" me. As I was putting up some Mac & Cheese, WT asked me what I was doing....I told him that it would be perfect for his luch tomorrow and he very rudely said, "NO!! That is not what I am going to eat." I told him that how he answered was not very polite and that he was not to talk to me like that, he again said, "No, I'm not going to eat that!" I corrected him again and then he stopped and said, "OK! OK! OK! Thanks, but NO THANKS!" I about died! HAHA!

As for Tate, we are still waiting on Iowa to call us back, but Friday morning he woke up and the cyst was less than half the size it has been! PRAISE THE LORD! All I can chalk it up to is prayer and faith in God! Thanks for all your prayers!
